what is office administration?

This one year business course is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in administration and reception. Opportunities arise in a wide variety of different office environments including legal, medical, and civil service, commercial and educational. Modules such as text production, reception, information and administration etc. provide graduates with essential skills required by busy office environments. This course also provides an excellent foundation for those wishing to pursue degree programmes in institutes of technology and universities or to obtain a place on a Level 6 business programme.

This course enables graduates to take up employment in any business sector, including legal, medical, commercial, financial and educational offices. Graduates may also progress to QQI Level 6 or advance to Degree programmes in DIT, NUIG and Maynooth University as well as a whole range of courses in IT Colleges around the country.

Leaving Cert or LCA. Mature Students of all backgrounds. Other equivalent qualification. All applicants will be interviewed regardless of previous qualifications.
