CAREER OPPORTUNITIES This course offers students a large variety of progression routes in the business and accounting sectors. These include degrees at both level 7 and 8 in Universities and IT or private college throughout the country, such as DCU, UCD, TUDublin Blanchardstown, Dublin and Tallaght, Dundalk IT, Waterford It and many more. Students can also apply for First Arts at Maynooth of which there are now 160 places and take Business and/ or accounting as a subject. Alternatively, Students may seek employment in a wide range of business within the business and accounting sector.

WHAT IS PRE-UNIVERSITY BUSINESS AND ACCOUNTING? Learners who under-take this one-year course in Business and Accounting, will gain an excellent foundation for progression to degree courses or to go directly in to the work place. This practical course will enable students to gain skills in accounting, book-keeping, payroll, marketing, communications and information technology.
