CAREER OPPORTUNITIES The Journalism award will allow graduates to access the level 8 degree in Journalism at DCU, TU Dublin, University of Limerick and NUI Galway. Students can also access many other degrees at Universities and IT or private colleges throughout the country such as Media Studies at Maynooth University and Multimedia at DCU. Graduates may also access other degrees at TU Dublin Blanchardstown, Tallaght and Dublin, Carlow IT, IADT and many more.

WHAT IS JOURNALISM, DIGITAL MEDIA AND PUBLIC RELATIONS? This one-year course in Journalism and digital media teaches students the skills needed to be a modern journalist. Students will learn how to work across various types of media, while still incorporating the main theoretical concepts of Journalism. Learners will appreciate how digital technology and the use of multiple platforms to deliver news stories are being used to engage a wide and varied public audience.
