WHAT IS GP PRACTICE ASSISTANT?

This course aims to prepare students to support GPs to expand their practice by assisting the Practice Nurse and medical/admin staff. This course will equip the learner with the knowledge and skills required for this new role as identified by the Health Service Executive. GP Practice Assistants carry out roles such as recording vital signs and weight, sterilising equipment, restocking consultation rooms, covering administrative duties and communicating with patients and members of the public.

WHAT IS PHYSIOTHERAPY ASSISTANT?

Students who undertake this one-year course in Physiotherapy studies will gain an understanding of the principles and practices of rehabilitation and an insight into how to assess and treat clients whose movement is restricted by illness, injury, disability or age. WHAT IS PHARMACY ASSISTANT?
