Dunboyne College has built an excellent reputation over the past decade, by providing education and training programmes of the highest quality. Our college staff is highly qualified, motivated and concerned for learner welfare. Learners of all ages are catered for and our track record in supporting mature applicants in their return to study is very strong. Our courses are designed to enhance career prospects and are continuously reviewed to ensure that they match student requirements and industry trends. Our strong links with local businesses and industry continuously inform our practice.
Excellent results are achieved by our learners. Over 90% of those who achieve a full award with us receive offers and progress to third level education. Our close proximity to Maynooth University and Technical University for Dublin, has helped facilitate the development of close links with both institutions. Many of our students progress to diploma and degree courses in these and many other third level institutions such as DCU, UCD, and Trinity College Dublin, through the Higher Education Links Scheme. DCFE has links with partner colleges in the UK which give learners opportunities to complete their degree in nursing, law, sports science and many other areas if a place cannot be accessed in Ireland.
Dunboyne college has grown from 40 students in 2003 to over 1000 students in 2020. This rapid growth is testament to the vision, drive and dedication of the management and staff. We look forward to welcoming a new cohort of students in September 2021.
