This one-year course is aimed at students who wish to develop their knowledge of Human Resource Management and offers an ideal entry level to both higher education training and employment. Students will also study many other general business areas, which allows for general business progression after the course also.

After further study, the course can lead to opportunities in HR departments across a wide range of public and private sector organisations.

Many large companies have a Human Resources department while smaller companies can have one or two trained staff members who look after HR issues such as recruitment, staff training, labour law and other general Industrial Relations issues.

Graduates from this course can access many university and college degrees throughout the country. There are places available to students NCI, TU Dublin and DBS directly on Human Resource Management degrees.

Students may also progress to Business and Marketing degrees among others within universities such as Maynooth University, DCU and UCD and in technological universities throughout the country.

Students can progress to work in areas such as human resources or marketing within small and large companies at entry level or assistant levels.

With the Business element to this course, students can progress to work as administrators in many other types of offices.

Students who undertake this one-year course in Business, Finance and Accounting will gain an excellent foundation for progression to degree courses or to go directly into the work-place.

This course offers students a large variety of progression routes in the business and accounting sectors. These include degrees at both Level 7 and 8 in universities and technological universities or private colleges throughout the country. Students can also apply for First Arts at Maynooth of which there are now 175 places available and take Business and/or Accounting as a subject. Alternatively, students may seek employment in a wide range of business within the business and accounting sector.

This one-year course will prepare students for a career as an Estate Agent, Property Manager or Property Valuer. It will enable them to gain understanding of how the property market functions.

By the end of the course students will be equipped with key Auctioneering and Estate Agency skills and will develop an understanding of economics, law, marketing and valuation among other skills. Estate Agents work within the residential and commercial buildings sector. They are typically involved in sales, lettings management, valuation and advertising properties.

Modules on this course will allow you to gain a base knowledge within the property sector allowing for progression towards further studies and gaining a licence enabling you to work as an Auctioneer/Estate Agent.

Graduates from this course can access many university and college degrees throughout the country. There are places available to students in TU Dublin, TUS and DKIT on specific Estate Agency, Property and Valuation courses. Apprenticeships are available in this sector.

This one-year business administration course is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in administration and reception. This course also provides an excellent foundation for those wishing to pursue degree programmes in technological universities and universities or to obtain a place on Level 6 business programmes.

This one-year course in office administration offers students the opportunity to gain varied and invaluable skills which are required to work in the area of business and office administration roles.

Students will develop competencies needed for working
