WHAT IS EDUCATION AND TRAINING?

This one-year course, similar to our other arts programme, aims to prepare participants for entrance into Arts programmes in Irish universities and colleges but also lay foundations for those who want to pursue a career as either a primary or post-primary teacher. While the course also prepares students for entry to employment in a range of settings, it is mainly aimed at those who want to pursue careers in the education and training arena. By progressing to an arts degree or education and training qualification, and then on to a post graduate qualification, students can access the many opportunities in the world of education and training. This course basically lays the foundation for those who know education is their first choice of career.
