Brenda Mullins
Level 5 in Applied Psychology

There are so many support structures in place at DCFE, particularly for the mature students. There were many mature student coffee mornings on different days in order to suit everyone’s timetable. A room was designated just for the mature students which was a great benefit to us, to relax and chat in a calm setting or to be able to work away quietly if we wanted to.

The learning hub is also another fantastic resource offered by the college for students who may be struggling with course detail or assignments. The staff are so engaging and they put you at ease as soon as you walk through the door. I did not avail of the services myself this year, but I knew they were there if I needed help.
