Join us at Dunboyne College of Further Education for a day filled with wagging tails and heart-warming companionship at Ulreeka’s Wagathon! This special event, dedicated to supporting the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, will take place in our college car park on April 13th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Kick-off is at 11:00 AM with a spirited sponsored dog walk, offering two routes for different paces: a breezy 2km and a more challenging 4km, with registration beginning promptly at 10:00 AM.
But the excitement doesn’t end at the finish line! After the walk, venture into the Dog Village, where you and your furry friend can enjoy a variety of delightful activities. Capture the spirit of the day with a professional portrait, a unique paw print, or a whimsical caricature of your dog. Don’t forget to treat your four-legged pals to some delicious homemade dog treats, available for purchase.
We’re also bringing together experts from Village Vets, Positive Puppies and Woof Woof Wagging, alongside representatives from the Guide Dogs for the Blind, to share their knowledge and stories. Whether you’re a dog owner or simply a dog lover, Ulreeka’s Wagathon promises to be an unforgettable day of fun, friendship, and support for a noble cause. See you and your canine companions there!
